What happens when you go to the doctor for acne medication?

do they get all in your face?

is it basically treated like a routing checkup? What happens when you go to the doctor for acne medication?
Go to a Dermatologist....they will look at your skin and prescribe something for just you.....but don't be afraid...and if you think you need a doc. then you do....so please....don't just use Any PRODUCT go to the doc. What happens when you go to the doctor for acne medication?
Look let me tell you this Natural secret... Pure Aloe Vera right from the ground works wonders! Get the olivera cut the skin of the stemoff and just rub the slimy inside part all over your face or just get chunks and lie down and put it on the worst areas. You don't want chemicals in your body. Oh and it does smell a little. Good luck And GOD BLESS YOU!!
Amy, why pay big bucks when there are so many cures for what you have. I use Listerine every night to cleanse my face. Just dab some on a cotton ball and clean your face. You will see a huge difference the very next day. I have been doing this every since I was a teen. I am now 51 years old and still do it. If you have very oily skin then do it once in the morning before you apply your make up, then again in the evening. You will be amazed at how nice your skin looks:-)
i got some pills and a cream, usually u will see results within 3 months depending what kind of stuff they give you, but all the time you get something
depends what kind of doc, if you go 2 a drematologist, they will prescribe medication and spray this cold stuff on your face. my sis went and she was fine

it is like a routene checkup.

GOOD LUCK!!!
When I talked to my doctor about my acne, she prescribed me some topical medications, all of them really dried out my skin except for one which is retin-A. She might also prescribe you some kind of antibiotic pills that you take in morning and at night.

Personally, when I was using all that medication I felt like I was bothering my skin instead of helping it. I think skin should be simple. Drink water, stay away from fast food and soda, wear sunscreen.

Doctors will prescribe medication if you want clearer skin, it doesnt have to be really bad acne.

And Yes they do get right up in your face, if you feel uncomfortable, just remember your doctor, like many others has seen worst.
