Benzoyl Peroxide is used for red, inflamed pimples. Salicylic acid is used for clogged pores (whiteheads and blackheads). I wouldn't suggest using both as it may lead to skin dryness and sensitivity.Acne medication?
I recommend benozyl peroxide...it's really effective...promise...i'm using proactiv for the past few months...you can also use that if you like but it cost 2,495.it's not that cheap yet effective..Neutrogena is also effective.
I also have acne-prone face so I became desperate to find effective products.I don't recommend Ponds bec. it only made my pimple worse. Pimples bring down ones confident...It's really a terible feeling*_*
Proactiv is a 3step solution and the last one have benozyl peroxide. They also have products with your other choice if you like.

and sulfur is a good acne medication too
i would recommend getting a salycic acid face wash
benozyl peroxide face lotion or toner
and a sulfuric acid spot treatment
from least strongest to strongest:
salycic acid
benozyl peroxide
sulfuric acid
salycic acid is for more sensitive skin, whereas benzoyl peroxide goes deep into the skin. You can use both at once if your skin gets oily really easily, but it might get dry if you put too much. Make sure to put on some sunscreen!
what ever u do dont use salycic aicd because it agrvates ur skin and makes it read and breakout even more.
use benozyl peroxide.
its more healthy and better for ur skin.
