What do you think is the best acne medication that does not dry too much?

I have combination skin. Its mostly oily, but sometimes it can get painfully dry in some spotsWhat do you think is the best acne medication that does not dry too much?
There is no best overall medication for all people. I suggest you do an overall 'good skin health' regimen. This would include caring for your skin twice daily: cleanse, exfoliate, and moisturize. After you exfoliate, apply the specialized products that your skin needs (acne treatment gel, etc.) Then be sure to moisturize. Alot of times, having acne makes us think we don't need moisture. But the opposite is true. Apply a moisturizer so your skin doesn't work overtime. In the meantime, drink tons of water to cleanse your system. You might even check with a health food store on good vitamins. Control your stress level. When I try new products, I like to try one for a few days, then add the next. This way I know which product (or action) made the most difference. Good luck! What do you think is the best acne medication that does not dry too much?
Shea butter has soothing, moisturizing and protecting effects. Due to the presence of a sizeable quantity of unsaponifiable fats, its content in vitamins and other active elements, Shea butter adds other more precise activities to these general properties. It displays a protecting role against UV rays because of its content in cinnamic acid and can thus be incorporated in solar products. The natural latex contained in Shea butter would moreover prevent certain sun allergies. Shea butter also helps cell regeneration and capillary circulation. This favors the healing of small wounds, skin cracks and crevices, and skin ulcers. In the cosmetic field, this property is an asset against skin aging. It has restructuring effects on the epidermis, also on dry and fragile hair. Dry skin, dermatitis, dermatoses, eczema, sun burn, and burns are all helped by natural Shea butter. It has an anti-elastics characteristic which makes it a good active ingredient against stretch marks. Shea butter can also be used to treat rheumatism and aching muscles, and to ease colds because it decongests nasal mucous tissues. It is very well tolerated by the skin for it does not normally trigger any allergic reaction and can even be used on very sensitive skin areas such as mucous tissues and around the eyes.
The products you are using, are they salycic acid or benzolyl peroxide? BP can be VERY drying. I personally like SA better. Almost all washes have it. They try finding a face lotion with it in it. Clean and clear has a good moisturizer with SA and it helps keep pimples at bay. Personally, I use Biore products (which you get over the counter. Their products range from $5-$10). They are harsh on pimples, but not on your face. I think you will just need to experiment with products until you find what works for you. Remember, it can take 1 month for products to fully begin working!
Try Tess Skincare[did not dry my skin out at all!] or Garnier Nutritioniste Nutri-Pure

I really like clinique's 3-step system. It is for all skin types (oily, combination and dry) and doesn't dry out skin. There is a foaming cleanser with salacilic acid as the active ingredient, a clarifing lotion (toner) with salacilic acid as the active ingredient, and a clearing moisturizer with benzoil peroxide as the active ingredient. It is very gentle, but works wonders! You can get it from a clinique store (often inside department stores) or on this website: http://www.clinique.com/templates/products/multiproduct.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY4913%26amp;cm_sp=topnavs-_-skincare-_-Acne
