How do you moisturize your face when you use an acne medication?

I use AcneFree but it dries out my face. How can I moisturize it without having to use a lotion or something that I put on my face. How do you moisturize your face when you use an acne medication?
Why do you not want to moisturize with lotion or something you put on your face? Fact is you have to use something on your face if it is your face you want to moisturize.

Either way I鈥檇 actually recommend that you try Bio Oil which is just an oil you would massage into your face, the advantage is that it would also help to prevent acne and heal any scars caused by the acne, it can be expensive however it lasts for a while or you can find cheaper brands in discount stores. I would also highly recommend you try Oil Cleansing Method for cleansing because as well as moisturizing this would also seriously help prevent and health acne too.

I've met people who have suffered from acne all their lives, tried all the treatments available, but nothing worked for them until they started to use OCM. I personally love using it because it stops my skin from being greasy and stops skin from flaking in the cold weather. OCM is basically what it sounds like, cleansing with oil, when you wash with soaps or washes you wash away the skins natural oils which causes the skin to overcompensate by creating more oil. With more oil being created it clogs the pores rather than helps to clean them, with OCM you aren't stripping away natural oils so your skin doesn't overcompensate, the oils you use to cleanse with clear out the pores and keep the skin healthy.

To use OCM you start off with a mix of half Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) and half Castor Oil (CO), the EVOO is moisturising where as the CO is cleansing 鈥?you can customise the oil adding more CO if your skin needs more cleansing, try using oils such as tea tree oil which is antibacterial to help with spots, or try other oils such as Jojoba oil which is closer to the natural oils of your skin. Customising the oil also means you can change it daily to suit your skins needs as it changes, for example during your period your oil may be oilier or more prone to break-outs, in which case use more CO and add some tea tree oil during that time to help prevent break-outs. Also note using oils is cheaper, better for the environment and better for your health as washes tend to be expensive and full of harmful ingredients.

To use OCM massage the oil into your face gently, once the oil is on your face get a face cloth and soak in hot water 鈥?as hot as you can handle without burning yourself 鈥?place the hot face cloth over your face and leave for at least a minute. The point of the hot face cloth is like a steam, it opens up pores, allowing the oil to get into the pores to clean out dirt and grease 鈥?the longer you can leave the hot face cloth on your face the better, it's good to do this in the bath as the hot bath water adds to the steam and you can just lay back and relax. Use the face cloth to wipe off all the oil and then splash cool water on your face to close pores. You don't need to use anything else, but I personally recommend using rose water as a toner as it makes sure all the oil is off your face, and smells nice, and then of course use a good quality moisturiser 鈥?you don't need anything expensive.
