It depends. What, specifically, is the medication?Does oral acne medication work for mild bumps on the forehead?
It depends on how severe the acne on your forehead is.
There are antibiotics that dematologists prescribe to treat severe acne and other skin/fungal conditions. It's called tetracycline. You may want to see a dermatologist.
I wouldn't bother with oral antibiotics for a few pimples. Every time you take antibiotics, you are chancing building an immunity to them which can cause major problems if you ever really need them for something serious. Try Proactiv, it really works! If you don't have luck with that, go to your dermatologist and ask for Differin which is a prescription creme. I am very serious about Proactiv though, it is great! You could always take a daily vitamin, it's worth a shot but STAY AWAY FROM ANTIBIOTICS UNLESS YOU REALLY NEED THEM! I built a resistance to them and if I get pneumonia or a sinus infection even, it can be very serious and I'm relatively healthy and young.
