Is there really urine in acne medication?

My best freind said that acne medicine is mostly made of urine. Has anyone else ever heard this? She also said that your first morning urine is best for back acne.Is there really urine in acne medication?

Don't know about that - but my friends mom stopped taking a menopause med because there was horse urine in it.
i dont think so... that would be more expensive than to just synthesize the compounds. plus acne meds usually have an antibiotic or a disinfectant, no hormones or anything that would come from urine.





but who knows, drugs have weird histories. warfarin was origninally marketed as a rat poison, and Premarin is made from horse urine.

your friend is an idiot. ammonia would be in the medicine, thats the only common ingredient between the two. but urine, no, the fda wouldnt allow it, possible disease transmission.

The name of the mediccine is Nari Sanjivani.


Those who cant take it, will be given a medicien called Phal Ghrut, this medicine is not made from any urine, but made from cow ghee (clarified butter). The reason for acne is excess testosterone hormone, which gets balanced by progesterone and estrogen from Ghrutam. The ghrutams are not to be ingested but applied externally.
