Solodyn does work. It is extended release minocycline. It is considered to be a waste of money. Regular minocycline is a fraction of the cost and works just as well. Minocycline went generic and thus, Solodyn was born. Dermatologists tend to be the most brand conscious of any medical specialty. They just love to prescribe those kinds of drugs.
